Cockpit USA: DTC Transformation

Cockpit USA is a 45-year-old legacy jacket designer and manufacturer located in NYC. Throughout their history, they relied primarily on a brick-and-mortar and wholesale distribution model. After closing their last retail location, Warhawk partnered with Cockpit to help develop an effective and robust direct-to-consumer model for the business. The cockpit team took on the challenge of taking a completely new approach to retail sales. Leadership had to overhaul inventory management, resource allocation and their technology.  Direct to consumer sales now represent over 50% of their business and has provided a revitalization in the Cockpit USA story.


The result

2015

Increased online sales revenue by 80%, conversion rate by 26%, and online transactions by 70%.

2016

Boosted e-commerce revenue by 90%, transactions/purchases by 87%, and marketing campaigns by 250%. Augmented campaign-driven revenue by 285%.

2017

Supported continued online revenue growth which surpassed wholesale revenue. Annual sales increased from $300K to $3MM+.
